Wow... I can't not believe it has been so long since I last blogged. The last month has been crazy. Here is a wrap up.

In June, I went home to celebrate Father's Day with Papaw, be with my mom on what would have been my dad's birthday and spend my birthday with Mom and Papaw.  I thought that these monumental days would have been hard but I prayed a lot and they were a lot easier than expected.  Mom and I went to the cemetery and released red balloons in his honor.  This was something we did at his memorial service except we had 250 balloons released then.  On Father's day, we had Papaw over and the Higgs family over and we had a lot of fun of fun.  On my birthday, Mom and I went out with her friends Ty and Jason and then Mom took me shopping.  It was very low key but great.  The next day I came back to Raleigh.  I almost forgot to mention that my wonderful husband sent my mom and me flowers on my dad's birthday to let us know he was thinking about us.  Then I got 27 yellow/red roses for my birthday.

I got back on Friday and sitting in the seat of the car were some more yellow/red roses. When I got home there was a card and a Bailey's box sitting on the table.  Everyone loves a Bailey's box! Bailey's is a jewelry store in Raleigh where Cameron got my engagement ring and wedding band made.  He gave me a diamond David Yurman bracelet and I love it. 

On Saturday we celebrated with his parents. We went to Michael Dean's and had dessert at their house.

Then Cameron and I headed to Memphis so we could go to Las Vegas with, my mom, Papaw, Traci, David, and Uncle Larry. We had a blast we had a lot of funny moments. I was the big winner. I hit the jackpot on the Top Dollar machine.  I had been joking that if I hit the jackpot I would go buy me this....

My new Louis Vuitton bag. I absolutely love it.

We were all sad to leave Vegas behind. We all had a blast and we can not wait to do it again next year. Here is the group the last night out to dinner.  We went to Craftsteak and boy was it good.
Since the trip Cameron and I have been adjusting to normal life again. We have been going to country concerts, movies, and dinners with friends.  Here is to more fun times this summer!
