Well, all I can say is that life has been rather unadventurous. I think.   After Cameron got over all of his food poisoning I came down with bronchitis. I toughed it out like a real Wolfpack fan would at the first football game.   I was exhausted for a few days afterwards. Oh, did I forget to mention I also injured my foot again.  I wish I could tell you that I was on some sort of adventure when I did it but unfortunately I think a jar of pickles or some jarred condiment or vegetable is the culprit. I was unloading groceries something fell on my foot and now I have a stress fracture.

I have been limping around the house bored out of mind. I have been unable to drive.  So, I decided to continue my food journey and can some more.

Above are jars of pickles, peach preserves, chili sauce and chow chow that I have made.

I have made many things this summer when it comes to canning. I have canned Cameron's homemade salsa, canned our banana peppers, and chili peppers, made homemade preserves and I plan on making home made apple butter soon.

Everything has turned out well that I have canned. I wish my artichokes would have turned out better. I attempted to make artichokes today and they did not turn out so well.  I wish that had but I will keep trying until it is a success.

They were pretty but...

they weren't very good. He is a good sport in trying them.

That's about all we have been up to. Cameron has been on night shit and I am ready for him to go to days. I have been going to bed early and reading and getting ready for all of the Fall tv premieres. We are going to the Duke Alabama game this weekend. It will definitely be an interesting game.That is pretty much it from the Santana front.
